            <title><![CDATA[Membership]]></title>
            <description><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt; There are many benefits to being a member of the Handknitters Guild. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Members receive a regular newsletter, &lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;	&lt;li&gt;may borrow books from the library, &lt;br /&gt;	&lt;/li&gt;	&lt;li&gt;receive 10% off yarn purchases at the Needle Nook&lt;/li&gt;	&lt;li&gt;&amp;nbsp;enter competitions&lt;/li&gt;	&lt;li&gt;display work in exhibitions&lt;/li&gt;	&lt;li&gt;attend promotional events&lt;/li&gt;	&lt;li&gt;receive assistance with problems&lt;/li&gt;	&lt;li&gt;be involved with like minded people &lt;/li&gt;	&lt;li&gt;learn new techniques&lt;/li&gt;	&lt;li&gt;hints and tips on improving your work &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt; Membership costs $25 a year, $20 for concession and is due 1st October.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Initial membership also has a once off joining fee of $10 &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; You can join at any of the general meetings.&lt;/p&gt;.]]></description>

            <title><![CDATA[Our library]]></title>
            <description><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;The guild has an extensive library of traditional and modern knitting and crochet books, plus related art and craft magazines.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;All members of the guild are allowed to borrow books free of charge.             <description><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;Our newsletter is brought out every couple of months.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It is available in a print format and soon to be in a downloadable version.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We also ask anyone who wishes to have things included into the newsletter, to contact Eleanor Collie either via email ( e.kitt.collie@gmail.com ) or give her your item at the next meeting.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Anything related to knitting, crocheting or even something amusing about life in general is always welcome.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Remember this newsletter is for us all.&amp;nbsp; Be involved.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;.]]></description>

            <title><![CDATA[About Us]]></title>
            <description><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt; The Handknitters Guild of SA was formed in 1987 and is a group of people who love to knit and crochet. We have 2 meetings a month, on the 1st and the 3rd Saturday, (in the Adelaide suburb of Unley ) to knit and crochet and share both knowledge and inspiration with each other. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We have a library available for members to borrow from, a biennial exhibition, (the next in 2012), competitions, regular newsletters for members and friends, workshops, challenges , guest speakers and we regularly attend events for promotional purposes .             <title><![CDATA[Need some help?]]></title>
            <description><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;If you need some advice about a tricky knitting problem or trying to find somewhere to purchase yarn, cant find the pattern, maybe you need an odd ball to finish&amp;nbsp; a project, then give us a call on the mobile phone and see if we can help.             <title><![CDATA[Meeting times]]></title>
            <description><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt; The Guild meets in the Unley RSL Hall,29 Arthur St, Unley. The building is an old church and it is behind the Unley shopping centre.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; First Saturday of the month: general meeting starts at 1pm and is followed by a workshop, guest speaker or show and tell. We finish about 4pm.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; Third Saturday of the month: knit and natter starts at 1pm and finishes about 4pm.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt; Cost: $4 for members and $4.00 for visitors. Includes tea, coffee and biscuits.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;For anyone wanting to visit us, there is a limit of three visits before we ask if you would like to join us.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Children and parents/adults are most welcome.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Please note that there is no Knit and Natter in December and there are no meetings at all in January due to the weather.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;.]]></description>

            <title><![CDATA[Come join us]]></title>
            <description><![CDATA[&lt;p&gt;One of the guilds major functions is to promote ourselves and knitting to the general public.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;So on occasion we will attend events within the community.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;What is coming up next for the guild&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;OCTOBER 29TH 2011&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We will be at the CWA building at 30 Deqetiville Terrace Kent Town for their Open Day, starting at 8.30 am.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;NOVEMBER 3-6TH 2011&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Our annual foray to the quilt fair at Wayville Showgrounds is again upon us.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;We will be there to promote knitting, crocheting, embellishing knitwear and even learn how to trichot.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Get to meet some of our talented members and if you have a problem with something, maybe we can help with that as well.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;BI-ANNUAL EXHIBITION 2012&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Every two years the guild shows off our best works.&amp;nbsp; Next year will be &quot;A small world&quot; and there is sure to be a lots of interesting things on display.&amp;nbsp; We also have vendors selling yarn, books, extensive array of finish products, a raffle and even a trading table.&amp;nbsp; So take note of this date and if there is any further information you would like, then contact one of the committee members listed at the front page&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;.]]></description>
